This offering is for an antique late 19th century hand made folk art cloth clown or jester doll. The doll measures app. 15" in length not counting the peak to his hood. This wonderful doll is from our personal collection, we have owned him for about 25 years. He appears to be a combination or hand and machine sewing. His clothing is all original and untouched. His arms end in simple stubs and his face has painted features. The cloth face has darkened with age and use making his features hard to see but they are indeed there. There is scattered light wear and soiling from age and use but as you can see he has not been abused. It looks like the thread used to draw the costume tight at the neck has been replaced otherwise there no rips, tears or repairs. The buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 16.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
