Retired 18" Historical American Girl Doll Kaya, originally introduced in 2002. My daughter received Kaya as a gift (she was purchased from the AG store) just as she was growing out of dolls in 2011. Kaya was displayed but never actively played with. Since then, she has been stored in our clean, smoke-free home. The original ties that held her in the box are gone. Her hair is still in the original braids but please see pictures for the hair. Some of the hair has come out of the braids. The doll comes with her original box, book as well as the extra set "Kaya's Accessories" which were never played with (the necklace is still in the original packaging! She is in excellent condition - please see all the photos for further details. Kaya will be carefully packed and shipped either by UPS Ground, USPS Parcel or FedEx Ground. Please ask any questions before purchasing - no returns! Also, I will be listing a few more of these this month. Thank you!! AG description: Kaya arrives in a deerskin dress trimmed with fringe, a line of pretend clamshell beads, and a belt . Pretty moccasins cover her feet. Kaya has dark brown braids tied with real shell hair ties . Kaya was the winner of the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Award for 2003. Kaya’s Accessories Kaya’s bag and belt pouch hold food and other treasures. She might have woven them using cord dyed with berries, wildflowers, and mosses—the same dyes that would have colored the porcupine quills in her pretty necklace .
