1940s bisque Storybook Doll - “Wee Dolls for Wee Collectors” #163. "Little Miss Donnet” she is 5 1/2" tall, one piece body with frozen legs with painted facial features and shoes, jointed at arms, blonde mohair wig and wore a Big Bonnet. Miss Donnet has on a winter blue dress with royal blue trim. Felt bonnet with lacy trim. A satin blue ribbon with bow around her neck. Original silver safety pin on the back of her dress. Her clothes have never been removed. She has long, white Cotton pantaloons and cotton slip under her dress. The back markings say: STORY/BOOK/DOLL/USA/PAT. APP. FOR
She does not have the tag on her wrist nor the box she would have came in. (Lost in moving) this is a great piece of history to have for your self or someone you know!
I only have the doll no box but when shipping it will be very well packed for safety. Everything is 100% original and in great shape for 80 years old. So grab this great piece of history and enjoy!
