RARE Antique 12" Composition KEWPIE Doll Rose O'Neill 1913 Blue Base.
This is an all-composition 12" Kewpie Doll. They were made by the Cameo Doll Company. This doll has a piece paper label on the base showing "DES-PA". The designer was Rose O’NEILL. The jointed arms move freely. This kewpie doll has a repaired base and appears to have some repaired fingers (shown in photos). I did not wash her as I did not want to do any damage. Purchased at an estate with the previous owners tag. Previous owners tag says 1930s but my research tells me 1913. Please refer to the photos as they are part of the description. Thanks for looking!
