RARE antique, 17" parian Dresden male doll, GLASS eyes, molded shirt &

This fine looking, 17 inch tall, German, antique parian (unglazed bisque) adult male shoulder head doll by C. F. KLING & Co., circa 1860, has deeply molded and painted, thick "cafe au lait", blond hair center-parted with hair drawn behind his ears with lots of brush stokes, beautifully molded upper & lower eyelids with inset blue glass eyes, eyelashes,  blond eyebrows, red nostril marks, handsome smiling mouth with upturned corners and excellent cheek blush. He has a finely molded dress shirt with pleated front and glazed collar and a blue and gold striped ascot tie around his neck. His original, fully stamped: NO. 4 commercially manufactured body has a tapered waist and long slender arms with leather hands with individually stitched long fingers and cloth legs with shaped feet. He wears a wonderful, 3-piece antique, striped silk suit with standing collar, fitted brocade vest with fine button detail and wonderful brown leather shoes and striped stockings. He is in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs, no stains or fading (possible eye corner touch-up) and no odors as he is from a private, smoke free, collection. His female companions are  not included and each listed separately.
