RARE, Antique CHAD VALLEY Royal Family, "Prince Edward", tgd. cloth

Complete your Royal Family. E II R Presenting his royal majesty, by permission of the Queen of England, is this wonderful, 14" tall , antique cloth, Royal Family, "Prince Edward, Duke of Kent" , portrait doll, cousin of Queen Elizabeth, circa 1938 , by Chad Valley Co., Harborne, England. Having a molded felt, swivel neck head he has beautifully molded and painted features, lovely blue glass inset eyes,  upper eyelashes, sweet mouth,   cheek blush   and original, thick honey blond, mohair wig with hand sewn side part, applied ears and velveteen body with joints at his shoulders and hips and is wearing his  original clothing : tan linen shorts with white undershirt, soft blue cotton shirt/jacket with side buttons at neckline and tan belt to match his shorts, blue felt shoes with tiny embroidered flowers and ribbon ties closures and white knit socks. He has the original Chad Valley wrist tag on one wrist and is in extremely good overall condition with sewn in cloth label on his left foot : The Chad Valley Co., Ltd./By Appointment/Toy Makers to/H.M. The QUEEN and has no damages or repairs although he has one very tiny pin hole on the side of his nose and another on the far side of his right cheek. He has no stains and no odors as he is from a smoke free home.
