This rare, 21-inch, So Truly Real doll from The Ashton-Drake Galleries is a special find for collectors. Created by artist Waltraud Hanl, this doll is an original, artist-made piece with beautiful dark complexion and black hair styled into an adorable look.
The doll comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and features the character of Jasmine celebrating her 1st birthday. This doll is perfect for those who love dolls and doll collections, especially those interested in African American dolls. It is a vintage doll from 2004 and in its original packaging, though it has been opened. The doll's quality and craftsmanship are evident in its realistic features and attention to detail. I have just acquired 53 older Ashton Drake Dolls
that I will be listing as my time allows me to. The previous owner number the boxes with a black marker so each box has a written number on it. The box shows wear, see photo. The A.D. logo paper inside the box has torn.
I believe the marking on the neck in photo 8 shows the age
. W.H. 04, I believe that is 2004. If anyone knows any different please let me know. That would make this doll 22 years old
. The yellow hue in the background is because the beautiful sun was shinning in the window.
