This is a porcelain Shirley
Temple doll. My understanding is that the really old ones from the 1930s were made of
composition and that the porcelain ones were produced by the Danbury Mint in
the 1980s and 90s. One of the doll's fingers is broken off and the arms
have come loose. I don't know if this is the original clothing or
not. This is a project piece for a doll restorer.
