STAR TREK BARBIE VERY RARE ERROR VERSION OOAK - HAIR UP WITH PINK STUD

As you can clearly see the Barbie doll in this packaging does not match any other Star trek Barbie that was sold and or released. Hair was to be more golden and down with golden color hoop earrings You can clearly see on this rare version that it has lighter hair and is up with pink studded earrings. Also please note the color lipstick is also pink and matches the studded earring where as the original was and has red lipstick Apparently I am told the Barbie inside is from the 'Flower Fun Barbie 1996' line This hair up may have been a prototype for Yeoman Rand? the doll is based on the 1960's version of trek and Yeoman Rand wore a red dress along with her hair up and a closer shade of pink lipstick as pictured on this doll. This is pure speculation. Why she wore red? (basically red shirted and never died is the real mystery) Bought brand new just as you see 22 years ago from a Toys R Us in the San Francisco Bay Area Figure is in mint condition - but package does show shelve wear & packaging does show some damage New rubber bands have replaced the old broken ones that over time has burst to hold replica phaser and communicators As a bonus I am throwing in a free regular version for side by side comparison on your shelf.
