This is a vintage 1980 Lemon Meringue Doll in the original sealed box with the attached comb included, although it may come loose in the box during shipping. Please note that we do not smell any lemon scent through the sealed box, and make no guarantees that the doll has maintained any scent.

We have taken care to read information from other collectors of Strawberry Shortcake dolls, and are aware that some dolls may deteriorate over time, depending upon storage. (For example, some of the dolls from the 1980s may have vinyl deterioration, can be sticky, have dark spots, and white arms/legs in contrast to their skin tones.)
It is our good faith estimate that this doll is in very good, preowned condition considering age. Some would say it is new in box, but we are labeling it as preowned because we are not the original purchasers. PLEASE message us to ask any pertinent questions you may have before buying, and we will do our best to answer.
This doll was purchased from an estate sale. We do not know how the doll was stored before we purchased it. It has been stored in our smoke-free home for several weeks. We do not notice any smoke odor on the box.
Box status: Sealed with the yellowed tape from years of storage, some tape residue on the front of the box, original price tag, UPC code is intact.
Doll status: Sealed in original box
Doll condition: No mold or fungus spots are visible. We do not know the condition of the doll's skin under the clothing, hair, or shoes when viewing through the box window. There is no viewable evidence of white discoloration on the hands.
This doll is sold "as is." In purchasing this doll, the buyer agrees that the sellers cannot be held responsible for any damage to the doll not seen through the box window, under clothing or hair, or for any future deterioration. It will be left up to the buyer whether or not to open the box to remove the doll for examination, different storage, or for cleaning. Please do not ask us to open the box before or after purchasing.
We will only combine shipping on two dolls, as trying to ship more than two at a time may cause the windows to be crushed in shipping. Please message us if you want to buy two dolls and we will try to send you an invoice for two dolls OR purchase two dolls separately, and we will box them together. Our custom discounted shipping is currently 20% and is applied automatically to the purchase.
