This 8" hard plastic Susie Sad Eyes clone doll has jointed arms and a red dress that I do not believe is original but is of the era. She is marked Hong Kong and dates to the 1960's. Other marks on the back of her head are an L and B with what I think is the symbol of a bell in between. There are some other faint words and numbers as well. She has jet black hair that can use a combing and white slip-on shoes molded and painted to her feet. Her face is clean and her features are strongly colored and not faded. The seam line and glue that hold the parts of her body together at the sides are noticeable. She was an inexpensive doll when new, but at 50+ years old, she is in good to very good condition. She certainly falls into the pre-Blythe, Keane era with her huge, wide eyes and sweet expression.
