I was given her as a gift years ago and put her away. She was never displayed or played with. The doll features a beautiful 1902 Kestner Antique German Reproduction Doll named "Mabel". This lovely 14" doll is an exact replica made in 1998 authorized by the the Strong Museum in Rochester, New York and made in a limited edition. Like the original version, she has a bisque porcelain head and composition ball jointed body; she is jointed at neck, arms, elbows, wrists, hips and knees. The stringing is still very strong. Beautiful, delicate facial painting, open mouth, lovely blue eyes and beautiful clothing and undergarments, which includes dress petticoat, slip and bloomers. She was made under the authority of the Strong Museum and is a faithful reproduction of the founder, Margaret Strong's childhood doll. As seen in the photos, she wears all original clothing and shoes, the original doll stand is also included. Her clothes have ever been removed, so I did take them off to show her body. My photos will show some minor issues. She comes with all the original, papers Certificate of Authenticity, hang tag and "A note about Margaret Woodbury Strong" and a plastic "Dome" to cover her when displayed. The original box and packaging included, the box will show wear and on the back some stain. **Missing when I received her was her heart locket, so I replace it with a new one which looks similar. Stored in my smoke and pet free home. ****FREE SHIPPING WITH INSURANCE**** Contact me with any questions or concerns, happy to help.
