Two Dolls

Click images to enlarge Description NOT ALL CHEERFUL TEARFUL DOLLS 'Cry Out Loud'.  Some of them only cry real tears and frown.  HOWEVER, identical to Cheerful Tearful, she is the rarer Baby Smile 'N Frown doll.   She has the two plastic 'tears' in her eyes as shown.  Here are TWO Mattel dolls made in 1965. Neither of these uses batteries. The larger one:  Lift her left arm up and she smiles, move the arm down and she pouts. (Shown is arm up and down) She has a vinyl body, blue eyes, pink cheeks, rooted hair and is approximately 13” tall. She is also a drink and wet doll, and can cry tears. This is one of the rare ones that has two 'plastic' tears that are affixed. She appears to be one of the transitional dolls that has two different hair colors.  The little pigtail is darker than the rest of her hair. She is wearing her original two piece outfit (I did not launder it as I don't think it has ever been washed) She is in overall good vintage condition. Facial expressions work well. The smaller doll:  This is the tiny Cheerful Tearful and she is wearing her original outfit (not in such good condition at all, but original).  This one, you squeeze her belly and she 'frowns' (I have shown her face with the belly squeezed in one photo). It has two round 'holes' at her butt and the snap is missing, but I could not find any other original outfits here.  She does have her original hair ribbon.  Her face is discolored, it has lightened and the lip paint isn't too good, but I wanted to keep them together as they are the only ones that I have. Although we try to give an accurate description, remember, this is a vintage item and there may be small imperfections from age or flaws from production that we have not noticed or noted in the comments. We try to list all the deficiencies, marks etc. Please review ALL pictures closely. I believe one is from 1965 and one is from 1966.
