GAIL WILSON UFDC 2019 Mary Lennox, the beloved heroine of "The Secret Garden, is a 9 1/2" limited edition character doll that was handcrafted by doll artist Gail Wilson for the United Federation of Doll Clubs in July 2019. She is initialed on the back of her head "GW 2019." Her shoulder head, lower arms, and lower legs are molded from paper mache and attached to a cloth torso. Her arms are wired. Mary Lennox is dressed in calico and gingham, and wears a coordinating petticoat and pantalets edged in delicate lace. Completing her outfit are black stockings and chocolate brown shoe button leather boots. Mary Lennox's face is painted in a lovely manner with soulful dark blue eyes, rosy cheeks, and a darkly rosy closed mouth. Her ash blonde mohair wig is styled in braids and tied with a brown ribbon. Mary Lennox comes with her original box, straw hat, key to "The Secret Garden" tied to her waist, and her hang tag.
