Vintage 1930s 12" Composition Alexander Dionne Quintuplet Toddler Restored Redressed
Very sweet Dionne Quintuplet - made by Alexander in the mid 1930's. Strung composition doll, jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. Has bent knee toddler legs. Cute facial features with working clear brown sleep eyes with all brush lashes. Eye shadow, single stroke eyebrows, closed mouth and light cheek blush. Blushed, knees, chest, backs of hands and elbows. Original human hair wig and replaced vintage costume. Wearing a cotton rose bud print dress trimmed in rick-rack with attached white ruffle sleeves and attached panties. On her head a vintage pink ribbon. On her feet replaced newer pink socks and white vinyl side buckle newer shoes.
CONDITION:
RESTORED condition. Clear, working sleep eyes - good lashes. Facial features have been hand painted - not factory original. Original wig is thin, has broken ends and is shorter than it was originally. Composition has been roughly restored. Her toes are poorly modeled. Soles of feet and her back are rough. She has small cracks around both eyes - top and bottom. faint crazing but is free of flaking paint or lifting. Free of seam splits or stains. Strung on the loose side - she can stand and pose, including arms. Good fingers and poor toes. Dress is in good condition. Working snap closure. Has a few small rips - especially on the pantie crotch and back of one sleeve. Free of any large stains. Shoes and Socks are newer replacements.

MARKED: Dionne on back of head and Madame Alexander on back. Will ship Parcel Select Mail wrapped in tissue and craft paper at about 2 lb.
