Vintage 1940's "My Playmate" Stroller Doll ~ Geo. Borgfeldt Corp.

This 1940s "My Playmate" Stroller Doll is made by Geo. Burgfeldt Corporation. It features a 8" (including platform) composition doll dressed in a long skirt with apron and head scarf; indications that she is the Russian doll. She has a wood platform with wood wheels and a pull string with wooden ring. She rolls as she is being pulled. She appears to be in excellent unused condition. She is in her original box, but it is in sad shape. The top is missing, and sides have extensive tape repairs. These dolls are very hard to find; especially in such wonderful condition; a perfect addition to your collection!
