Vintage 1950s-1960s Mexican Doll 8” RARE and has original tag from the notable House of Oppenheim C. Juarez, Mexico This beautiful doll was brought home to me as a child by my dad,who had been traveling near Juarez. Founded in 1892, The House of Oppenheim carried the best quality serapes, sterling jewelry, dolls, leather goods, French perfumes, etc. There was no haggling. This was a high end store that carried special gift items. This doll comes in her original plastic bag. She has been in storage for many years now.She is in very nice vintage condition, with no damage, but with wear commensurate with age. She has a felted basket-woven hat. In the photos, you can see a smallworn/torn area -- this actually has a small metal clip in itpresumably so that it could attach to her head. Her hair is smooth, tied back and then braided back across her front. There is one small tuft of hair on the very top of her head -- this could easily be slicked back. Please see Photos for her complete condition and wear.
