Vintage 1957 Madame Alexander Elise Ballerina Doll. This pretty ballerina is a 16" Madame Alexander doll with jointed ankles and elbows. Her facial coloring has paled a bit, but nice overall coloring. Faint blush and coral lips. Nicely etched eyebrows. Her eye lashes are nice and her sleep eyes open and close. She has clear greenish eye color. Elise is wearing a pretty light gold wig with curled bangs on her forehead. Her body is in fair vintage condition, but could use a cleaning on her vinyl arms, as there are some darkened areas.  She is strung well and holds a pose. She is wearing a pale lilac pink ballet outfit with a satin bodice and layers of tulle tutu that has faded with age. This costume looks like it was originally a darker shade of lavender. The bodice is tied with matching satin ribbons, and rhinestones on the front. She has no floral headpiece, no earrings, and no tights. The outfit is tagged "Elise". The dolls does have on pink rubber ballet slippers that tie. The doll and the outfit are in vintage condition. She has no splits or cracks.
