Vintage 1961-62 Fashion Doll Dress - Substitute Barbie

This is a dress for a 10-11" fashion doll that was produced in either 1961 or 1962. I received the doll and her wardrobe for Christmas- it was my last doll. It was not a Barbie doll, but it was a knock-off. My Mother worked for J.C. Penney Co. and she bought it there. The set included a brunette hair doll and about 6 outfits. I don't know what became of the doll or the other outfits, I just found this one dress in a drawer with other stuff I haven't looked at in 40 years or more.
The skirt of the dress is sort of a pleated navy blue crepe. The bodice is a gold and white stripe in a shiny looking material. The back has two red snaps for closure.
The dress is in very good condition for it's age, no holes or tears or stains. It does need to be pressed.
Size: Shoulder to hem-5 1/2"
Breast-2 7/8" (underarm to underarm)
Waist-2 " - laying flat
