Vintage 1970s Raggedy Ann Doll 15” by Knickerbocker with Original Outfit With a sweet face — and in remarkably good condition for its age —, this is a 1970's era (1976-ish) Raggedy Ann doll made by the Knickerbocker Toy Company, attired in a removable light blue cotton dress with button closure at back neck, topped by a white apron that ties in the back and has a pocket with a patch of fabric/handkerchief matching the dress. Doll has red yarn hair, black button eyes and screenprinted facial features including a red triangle nose. Its legs are made of screened fabric that form red and white striped stocking legs leading to black screened fabric boots. The shoulder, hips, elbows and knees are sewn as if jointed. The iconic ‘I Love You’ heart is present on the doll’s chest. The original Knickerbocker Toy tag is on the doll’s outfit seam and reads “Raggedy Ann” and “Knickerbocker.” This vintage Raggedy Ann is in good used condition. Face paint and hair are very good. There is a faint watermark-like discoloration above its brows, and some grime on limbs and small stain on upper back, and overall general grime from age and storage. Apparel has been hand laundered and shows signs of its age with sun-fade marks on the dress and a sleeve. Care tag has some wear. No foul odors.
