You are bidding on a rare find - a previously owned female Indian ( Native American ) girl squaw doll with a papoose / baby on her back and leather look outfit / dress. The girl measures 7 1/2" tall and has a heart shaped stand with a spring-like metal that secures her feet to the stand, allowing her to stand upright. She is wearing a white leather-looking skirt outfit with fringe and has red, white and turquoise blue beads. NOTE: There are some loose beads that will be included with your doll. Her outfit seems brittle and many of the "fringe" has previously broken off and there is a tear in the baby's papoose. Her eyes open and close. She has black hair and a headband with bead decorations. I believe it's a Carlson brand doll, as the base says CARLSON. They manufactured their dols in Maple Lake, Minnesota. It's a wonderful addition to your collection, in vintage condition. Part of an estate. It will be well wrapped for safe arrival via FedEx or Priority Mail from a smoke-free and pet-free home. I'm selling other items (including a Skookum doll) and will be happy to combine shipping - simply ask.
