Incredibly Rare 16" Gotz 1966 Sasha Morgenthaler Serie Doll Hand Painted with No Philtrum is up for Sale. Doll comes complete with outfit, wrist tag, and stand as displayed in photos.
This One of a Kind German version of Sasha is one of the very hard to find dolls that comes with No Philtrum. It is one of the dolls produced in the late 60's in Germany as distinguished by the wrist tag and "Sasha Serie" markings on her back and neck. The doll comes exactly as seen in very nice condition as shown.
This doll is truly unique and beautifully exemplifies the vision of creator Sasha Morgenthaler's original idea for dolls to represent an image of universal childhood rather than being perfectly symmetrical, and belonging to one specific group. This Sasha doll has medium skin, dark short hair, and an undefinable eye color. Her face is beautifully hand-painted with the paint still in excellent shape.
Sasha comes with her brown hair in a shorter style, and wears brown corduroy overalls with and undershirt and sandals. Doll comes exactly as seen, so please review all photos and ask any questions before buying.
