Vintage 1950s IDEAL P-91 Platinum Blonde TONI doll in Original Outfit

Oh so lovely, platinum blonde 16"/P-91 Ideal Toni doll wearing her original dress consisting of a light pink waffle-weave cotton top with three buttons and lace trim, attached to a teal & gold embossed polished cotton skirt with attached muslin slip and attached gold belt. A variation of this dress is shown on pages 92 and 102 of the Collector's Guide to Ideal Dolls. Under her dress she wears white panties, white vintage socks (no runs) & vintage marked Ideal white shoes. Toni is marked IDEAL DOLL * Made in U.S.A. on back of head and IDEAL DOLL P-91 on her back.  She’s in overall good played-with condition, with soft, lovely facial coloring, blue eyes and smokey eye shadow. Her hair is gorgeous, thick platinum blonde, pulled back on the sides, but her current hairstyle comb-over exposes stitching on her wig (*sigh), and some wig glue at the hairline, so she could use a restyle to cover this exposed area.  I didn't attempt to do this as I'm not skilled or brave enough to mess with a doll's wig, but someone with some know-how could restore her wig to its original beautiful style.  Important to note is that the stitching is tight and neat and not really noticeable unless you are viewing the top of her hair. There are also a few marks/spots on the back of her leg as shown in the photos. Overall, she is an exceptionally pretty Toni doll that displays well and wears her original, crisp outfit. Included is a reproduction Ideal Toni hand-tag. No odors, smoke free environment. Pictures are an important part of the description, so do inspect carefully. As with all vintage items, minor imperfections are expected.
