Approximately 15-16” tall (not including “spikes” that help doll stay upright in base). Some kind of porcelain or bisque face, hands and feet. Face is delicately painted with sweet expression. Part of hair (or wig?) is detaching but included; please note that head is detached but appears attachable, neck is still attached to head. Hands/arms and legs/feet are quite damaged (cracked porcelain? - not sure of material, but could possibly be repaired. Clothing looks hand stitched, fabric has some sheen to it. Geisha shoes are wooden. The base appears to be black lacquer but I’m not certain; it is definitely cracked and needing repair also (measures approximately 6” x 8”). This is the perfect restoration project for someone who loves dolls and Japanese culture. The doll appears vintage but I cannot vouch for its age - it was given to me as a craft project 20 years ago that I never attempted. From my research, the doll may possibly be an Ichimatsu doll - but I cannot confirm that either!
