Vintage Japanese Wedding Doll Bride & Groom Set- Kimekomi- Ichimatsu

This is a vintage Japanese wedding doll set, consisting of a bride and groom. The dolls were handmade in Japan using the traditional Kimekomi technique and feature the Ichimatsu GoFun style. The dolls were purchased in Okinawa in 1975 and are a representation of Japanese culture. Two of the many from my mom's doll collection.
This set has been thoughtfully taken care of and on display in a china cabinet for the last 35 years.  They stand just under 5" tall.  Colors in kimono still vibrant and beautiful.
