Vintage KEWPIE DOLL Nursery Child Lamp with Shade Baby Adorable 1940s 1950s Vintage 1940s - 1950s Chalkware Kewpie Doll Nursery or Child's Lamp Adorable chubby Kewpie Doll in a retro mint green outfit Lampshade is paper/cardboard with an autumn browns plaid design Lamp is 14 1/4 inches tall (including shade); Kewpie doll is about 7 inches tall Shade is about 7 inches tall and 10 inches in diameter at the base Has fairly recent rewiring with modern white cord Paint is very nice and all is in excellent condition EXCEPT that there is an old repair where the head was reattached (see photos). The repair is not very noticeable without a close inspection and does not detract at all from with wonderful vintage appearance of this lamp or the adorable look of the Kewpie Doll.
