Her eyes are a lovely shade of golden amber, clear and crystal with vivid whites. Her lashes have a red gold tint that matches her red gold hair. Her lower lashes are hand painted. She has a small bow-shaped mouth, ruby red lips and pale blush. The doll's red gold mohair wig is in the original set with curls held in place with pins. She The doll's dress looks like the original Madame Alexander was cut out, but I guarantee it is genuine. This doll came from a private adult collector in Canada with an extensive collections of rare Madame Alexander dolls. She has never been on E Bay. Her original owner wrote on the bottom of the shoe's heel in ink "Bridesmaid 1945". She wears a lovely vivid bright sunshine yellow sheer nylon gown trimmed with satin ribbons over taffeta underskirt. Her dress has a few tiny pinprick holes in the yellow tulle fabric in the front and back of the dress on the lower half. She has an attached yellow cotton slip and matching cotton panties. She wears her original sandals with ribbon ties. She has her original matching yellow ruched muff with a lovely purple violet rose. In her hair she is wearing a matching purple violet and yellow stemmed floral accent with large green leaf. She came to me wearing this in her hair, but not sure if it is original, but very attractive. This beautiful and rare doll does not have any crazing to her face that is so common with dolls of this era. No paint loss, other than one small area on her lower back, approx. 3/4"" in diameter. No chips, cracks, splits or odors. All fingers and toes intact. This doll is a fine example of Madame Alexander's Wendy Doll from 1945. Please feel free to ask questions or request more photos.
