Peggy Nisbet began making dolls in 1952, her first doll being a depiction of Queen Elizabeth II made to commemorate her coronation. Queen Elizabeth II wears a deep purple velvet style and ermine coronation cloak over an ivory gown and petticoat. She carries an orb and wears a crown. Her face is delicately made up, perfectly complementing the necklace. Minor signs of wear. In very good vintage condition. Has sash, orb, jewel necklace and crown, and undergarments. One tiny spot on the dress. See last photo. No damages to the clothing or doll. Photos taken inside and in natural light. Measures 23.5" from the shoulder to the hem of the cloak. 8" tall. Jointed at the shoulders. Please ask any questions/look at all pictures and description carefully before purchasing. Always examine the photos carefully, and if in doubt, contact me with any questions you may have. The photos provide additional condition information.
