Vintage Primitive Handmade Cloth African American Folk Art Doll 17" Tall X Click to Enlarge Vintage Primitive Handmade Cloth African American Folk Art Doll Circa 1940's - 1950's This darling stuffed cloth doll is adorable, unique and so charming. She stands 17" tall. Beautifully made doll that is dressed in lovely well-made clothing. No details were spared! Cute embroidered face. White yarn hair. She wears a red and white striped bandana accented with gold hoop earrings. Off-white blouse trimmed in red. Red rose buttons. Wood pin at her neck made from a section of a nut. Sheer apron with a little pocket and trimmed in lace. Colorful skirt with a bold design and trimmed in red at the hem. White petticoat and bloomers with ric-rac trim. She is in excellent condition. Very well cared for doll. Clothing has no rips or tears, but there are a few small stains noted. Foxing on one shoulder. Petticoat has a small stain near ric-rac. Overall quite good for a doll over 70 years old!   Clean.  No odor. Please view all the photos provided for details. I took many photos from all sides so you can see this wonderful vintage  doll in her entirety. A rare and hard to find doll that would be a standout in any collection.
