Vintage Sayco Glamour Girl Bride , 1955 With Voice Box Crier DESCRIPTION :Marked “Sayco” on her neck, this is an All Original 1955 Glamour Girl Sayco Bride Walker Crier doll. She stands 20” tall, has a soft vinyl head with rooted blonde saran hair in its original “pre-wave” set and, beautiful blue pinwheel sleep eyes. Her detailing is exquisite, her facial features, beautifully formed ears and, right down to the lines and dimples on her hands and fingers. You rarely find this kind of detail anymore even in the most expensive dolls.She remained like new  I have displayed her since then in a glass display case. She still remains in “like new” condition and has never been played with. Her wedding gown is also exceptionally gorgeous and consists of a layer of lace, underneath that a layer of satin and underneath that, a crisp linen crinoline. She wears her original panties and shoes. The walker mechanism works perfectly. Attached to her wrist is the original Sayco hangtag with a ribbon that says “Walker Doll”. It has no tears or folds and is also in excellent condition. The voice box is the only thing that isn’t perfect. It works intermittently. Sometimes, she cries right away and sometimes, you have to turn her over a few times to get her to cry. Nevertheless, she cries. Perhaps it is because she has rarely been touched and just needs some practice. She is a beautiful example of a quality hard-to-find Sayco doll. She comes from non-smoking homes and has no odors.
