Virginia Turner Porcelain Doll - Scarlett Rose

Virginia Turner Porcelain Doll - Scarlett Rose is a beautifully sculpted 28" limited edition doll (60/200).  This is one of the four season dolls Virginia created.  Scarlett Rose represents the summer season.  All the original items are included and is MIB with the COA . Virginia Turner did not create many porcelain dolls and this one is very rare.  The porcelain is so excellently crafted that it feels like real skin.  It was made on 4/19/1995 and was originally $800.00. The dress is pink with a rose print, the cuffs and the bertha/bib collar have lace details.  Her shoes are adorably designed leather (faux leather) flats with matching bow and her stockings are a lace-like cream color.  Her eyes are a stunning green with real upper and lower lashes.  Her black hair accentuates her fair complexion and eyes.  Her mouth is slightly open with 2 teeth showing.  Her hands and ears are perfectly sculpted. Scarlett has never been played with and was used as a display doll, for the last 10 or so years she has lived in her box. She has always lived in a smoke free home.
