This girl is so gorgeous! Hard-to-find Auburn red "Color Magic" straight leg Skipper from 1964 with her original metal headband, swimsuit, red Japan flats. I've tried to capture the color of her hair in daylight in various photos. Note that in one photo, I've compared her to a couple of different titian Skippers so you can see how amazing her pinkish ruby red hair color is (maybe describe it as a cherry hue?). While she is fantastic, she's not perfect, so please take a look through all of the photos and note the following:
Her scalp is painted brown (at least where some of the paint remains...much of it has worn off over time). She would've been in a Brunette Skipper box. In person, you would definitely not consider her a brunette.
Hair is freshly washed and conditioned. Bangs are frizzy
While she's not missing hair plugs, the ones at the back base of her neck are thinned out. You don't notice it when her hair is down, of course, but I wanted to point it out to you.
She's got a couple of spots on the back upper thigh that look like bruises
Joints are tight
No neck splits, nose nips, or chew marks
Tiny bit of lip color missing on left lower lip
Feet and hands look great!
Swimsuit is a bit dingy and the elastic at the legs has stretched out.
Metal headband is not as gold as it once was
Brush has some wonky bristles
Red Japan flats look great
Smoke-free, pet-free home.
