We are delighted to offer this beautiful bisque reproduction googly eyes doll by JD Kestner, Ges Gesch, Germany. This rare doll has a bisque swivel head, brown inset glass side-glancing googly eyes; painted long lashes; double-stroke brows; button-shaped nose; closed mouth with watermelon-slice shaped smile; blonde mohair bobbed wig; jointed bisque arms and jointed chubby bisque legs. She’s wearing black knit stockings socks, a gorgeous dress with a small stain; a matching bonnet; and white pantaloons. Her neck is marked JDK 221 for the Kestner company, Ges Gesch, Germany. She measures approximately 17” high and is gently used. This cutie would no doubt compliment any doll collection. The bench is not included in this auction.
