Vtg Russian Matryoshka Nesting Dolls

This set of 10 RUSSIAN NESTING DOLLS is a must-have for anyone interested Russian culture. Each doll is uniquely HAND-MADE & HAND-PAINTED. The largest doll is SIGNED on the bottom BY THE ARTISAN although it’s not clearly legible. The set is MADE IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION. These dolls are in excellent shape and have been well cared for. They are very colorful on the front side. Their backsides are painted in black and gold as shown in the last 4 photos. The largest doll is 10” high and 6” at its widest point. Each is slightly smaller than the one containing it. The smallest of the 10 dolls is approx. the size of a woman’s pinkie fingernail. These dolls are in EXCELLENT CONDITION, especially considering their advanced age.
