White Buffalo SMALL 2.5" Vintage Kachina Doll Handcarved Native

This listing is for a handcrafted Kachina doll mounted on a wood slab base. This is a SMALL Kachina doll measuring about 2.5 inches tall. You get the EXACT Kachina shown in the photo's. Please look at the photo's for the exact size you can see height and width. It features hand carving, bright hand painted details. This is a very detailed piece with great colors. The White Buffalo Kachina represents the most sacred of all animals. Signals a time of abundance and plenty . Symbolizes great strength and gratitude. This piece is part of collection from 1966 to present day. The owner has been collecting these beautiful Kachinas most of her life. However with recent passing of her husband it's time to down size :( She was in a large home and is now moving into a very small assisted living space. She is so sad not to have room for her lifetime collection. I have assured her people will love them as much as she has. :) I will be posting many more all different sizes large, medium and some are even smaller then this one :). There are more than 250 different Kachinas, each with its own separate attributes, representing everything from animals to abstract concepts. The Hopi were the original Kachina Doll carvers, using a single piece of cottonwood root.   This is in great condition for it's age. It is signed by the artist.
