1966 JERRY MAHONEY Ventriloquist Doll by Paul Winchell RARE!

This listing is for a JERRY MAHONEY ventriloquist doll made by Paul Winchell. Winchell began making his own ventriloquist figures in 1966 after breaking with the Juro Novelty Company. His figures show a great resemblance to the real Jerry and Knucklehead. Produced for only a short time, they rarely come up for sale and are highly prized by collectors. Jerry is 24” tall and constructed with vinyl head/hands and a stuffed body. The mouth is operated using a pull string located behind the neck. At 57 years old, Jerry is in very nice working condition. There was some sort of repair to the left side of the neck, which you cannot see from the front or rear, only the side. The figure is marked "1966 Paul Winchell." A rare find!
