For reference: The king of doll manufacturers - Johann Daniel Kestner (JDK) from Waltershausen, Thuringia, Germany, started making papier-mâché, wooden dolls and toys as early as 1816. Kestner eventually employed nearly three-quarters of the inhabitants of the Waltershausen region, which earned him an income. Nickname "King Kestner". In 1858 J. D. Kestner passed away and his grandson Adolf eventually took over the management of the company. Around 1860 Kästner produced head wax for papier-mâché dolls, by 1860 they had purchased a porcelain factory in Ohrdruf and began to produce the biscuit dolls known to collectors today. Kestner was one of the few German doll makers who produced a complete doll - head and body. You can ask questions and ask for additional photos if necessary. Please bid if you are sure.
