Antique Gottschalk Dollhouse

From the Fran Merrill collection, this Museum Quality crafted dollhouse is possibly a one-of-a-kind piece, perfect for collectors and enthusiasts alike. This IS NOT A TOY, but an antique collectable!  This r are German red roof dollhouse (presumed to be) created by Moritz Gottschalk, includes some artisan furnishings and is built to a scale of (1:12). Built in the 1920's; it has weathered the storm of time and is in fair to good condition considering its age.  Built of s olid wood, very heavy and well made. A cquired by Fran Merrill in 2006, this vintage dollhouse is a true antique and a testament to the artistry of its time period. The house and contents currently have a market value of $1,800 and an original value of $1,500 and comes complete with a book of provenance.
