This doll is a beautiful example of an antique Madame Hendren composition doll from the 1920s. Measuring at 18 inches in length, this crying toddler doll has brown straight hair and blue eyes. The doll is made of composition and cloth materials and comes with a lovely outfit.
I replaced her crier with a new, working reproduction, repaired & repainted her crazed compo, and repaired a tear on her back; otherwise she’s all original.
The doll has been restored to pristine condition and is an authentic piece from the 1920s. It is a Caucasian girl doll with a fair/light complexion. She’s perfect for collectors of antique and vintage dolls.
