The Erte Stardust Porcelain Barbie Doll is a limited edition collectible produced by Mattel in 1996.
This Barbie approximately stands 13 1/2 inches tall and mounted to a 1 inch base. The doll is made of porcelain with a light complexion, blue eyes, and black hair. It comes with original packaging and is part of the Barbie Collector product line. The dolls dress is glamorous and fashionable similar to the Art Deco design that Erte is known to have produced during his lifetime. This Barbie is a tribute to the artist and is a must-have for collectors of dolls.
This is a collector doll recommended for ages 17 and up. The original box is in fair condition considering the age with a 7" tear in the front and a 3" tear on back that have been taped to help prevent any further tearing. A piece of the Styrofoam insert broke off but is contained in packaging. Unfortunately, the dolls hat is missing. Extra dress beads are in a mini baggie attached to Styrofoam packaging. It is unclear whether or not they fell off the dress or were meant as extras originally prepackaged with doll. The Barbie doll is preowned condition. She was previously owned and displayed by an adult collector in home.
