John Wayne American, "Symbol of the West" was produced by Effanbee Doll Corporation in 1981 and is retired.  1981's John Wayne - American is a deserved tribute to "The Duke" who won the West along with the hearts of all Americans.  This one year edition is filled with meticulous detail....From his ruddy face and red long johns to his exclusively recreated saddle carbine.  Has original Hang Tag.  He is holding an authentic lever action Winchester Rifle that "The Duke" carried in every film.  The Doll is in mint condition and in it's original box.  Measures 16" tall without hat.  This is truly a remarkable collectible of John Wayne and is no longer made.
