ITEM DESCRIPTION: Vintage 1930s 14" Madame Alexander Composition Sonja Henie Ice Skater Doll Cute blonde, marked Sonja Henie doll from Madame Alexander with pretty facial paint, replaced, curly mohair wig, working sleep eyes, brush lashes, eyebrows, bright cheek blush and open mouth showing six upper teeth. Good condition torso, arms, fingers and legs. Jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. Made of composition. Strung tightly - she can stand and pose. Marked on the back of her head. She comes with a pair of red striped pajamas and original Sonja oilcloth skates. CONDITION:
Fair, played with/repaired condition. Face paint is good with some rough cheek blushing. Sleep eyes have been renewed, are working and missing some of her brush lashes. Mohair wig is replaced but thick and in original curls. Strung tightly she can hold a pose. Fingers are all complete. Toes have been repaired on one foot. Skin surface is quite clear and clean. No bites, large stains chips or crazing. Clothing and footwear are vintage and in fair condition. Pajamas do not have any snaps. Elastic on pants is still good and stretchy. Sates are age soiled and moderately stiff from age but do slide on her feet with ease. One shoe-string is missing. Blade of one skate has a small break at the back (pictured). MEASUREMENTS: 14" tall.
