Vintage 1940s Simplicity Pattern 4851 Doll's Wardrobe Six Outfits Size 16” Doll.
Outfits include: Jacket, Skirt and Beanie;
Dress and Panties; Coat and Tam; Pinafore, Bonnet and Panties; Slip and Panties; Pajamas.
Preowned. Very good condition.
It looks as though one pattern was used. All others are uncut. Instruction pamphlet is missing. Envelope is tattered.
The suit is styled with a boxy jacket and a gored skirt and the beanie is cut in six sections. The dress, with matching panties, has a full skirt and lace edging outlines a simulated apron front. There is a tam to match the double breasted coat. The pinafore, with matching bonnet and panties, features a gathered skirt, fitted bodice and a shoulder ruffle. A self-ruffle finishes the bottom of the lace edged slip. The pajama trousers fasten with a draw string and the top is gathered to a shoulder yolk.
